Helping you navigate perimenopause with evidence, honesty and a human approach

My Approach
I'm a naturopathic doctor focusing on perimenopause and hormonal health, and co-founder of Crafted Balance Clinic. I built this clinic at the start of my career because I wanted to do it on my own terms — grounded in real values, centred on good care, and built around the intelligence patients bring about their own bodies.
My approach combines lifestyle, supplements and hormone therapy, staying current on the research so patients can put their time, energy and money into things that actually move the needle. I'm known for being honest about what the evidence says, and for building plans that are sustainable in real life — not a wholesale overhaul.
Perimenopause is where I do my most meaningful work. I see this period as a genuine window of opportunity — the decisions made now around hormonal health, lifestyle and prevention can shape how you feel and function for decades to come. That's what keeps me in this field.
I call it a human approach to health. In a wellness world that can feel overwhelming and contradictory, my focus is simple: cut the noise, be straight about what works, and help you make confident decisions about your health.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to help people feel good in the one life they've got.

OUtside the clinic
When I'm not in clinic, you'll find me between Toronto and Parry Sound — strength training, doing pottery, out on the water, still getting on the soccer field when I can, and slowly figuring out golf.
Staying connected to the things I love outside of work is how I stay like myself. I want the same for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
A: Yes, virtual appointments are available to anyone in Ontario. If you're not in Toronto or prefer to be seen from home, that's completely an option. Virtual spots are currently available on Tuesday afternoons.
-
A: Yes. Hormone therapy is a core part of my practice and something I'm experienced and comfortable prescribing. If it's appropriate for you, we'll talk through the options clearly so you can make a confident, informed decision.
-
A: Absolutely. Most of the time we're working in parallel - I keep your GP informed of what we're doing, and in my experience they're generally open to collaboration, particularly given my MSCP certification and focus in this area.
-
A: No - blood work isn't required to get started. Your first appointment is about understanding what's going on for you, and from there we can discuss what testing actually makes sense. If you have recent blood work, bring it along — it's always helpful context.
-
A: Most patients start with an initial appointment, followed by a check-in about a month later. I find patients get the most out of care when they commit to at least three appointments to start - this gives us enough time to understand what's working and adjust accordingly. From there, follow-ups are typically every two to three months, settling into two to four times a year once you're in a maintenance phase. If you're on a prescribing protocol, follow-ups are a bit more regular to ensure we're monitoring and adjusting as needed.
