  • Naturopathic medicine is a form of care that holds you at the centre and takes into account your physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. At the foundation, it involves supporting what we call pillars of health - the ways in which we move, eat, think, rest and connect. We see our long term and sustainable change come from shifts within these pillars. As we make these bigger lifestyle shifts, we have tools such as intentional supplementation, lab work, herbal medicine and acupuncture to manage symptoms and get you where you want to be.

  • For naturopathic and psychotherapy visits, we welcome you to book a complimentary meet and greet appointment to ask questions, hear about our approach to care, and see if we are the right fit for you. After this, you can decide to book an initial consultation.

If you are ready and excited already, you can definitely skip the meet and greet and jump right into an initial consult - it's totally up to you!

  • We are open and welcoming to anyone seeking care and support. We strive to create a space that is inclusive.

We are also happy to facilitate a referral to another practitioner to ensure the best possible fit for your care.

  • Many extended health insurance plans have coverage for Naturopath (including Pelvic Floor Therapy), Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture and/or Psychotherapy services. It's best to contact your provider to understand your coverage before booking.

  • We do! We are able to offer direct billing for naturopathic, chiropractic, acupuncture and massage therapy services for many private insurance companies.

Don’t see your insurer? Feel free to contact us to see if it’s possible for us to direct bill for you.

  • There are many reasons to see a naturopathic doctor, including preventative health! Many patients are eager to see us for the time we are able to spend with them. If you have multiple concerns, we can put together a comprehensive plan for managing them. Often, many of these concerns are linked! Some other reasons include:

You are not getting complete relief from a medication and/or you are experiencing unpleasant side effects

    You want support with supplementation

You are thinking about getting - or trying to get - pregnant.

Your primary concerns are digestive, hormonal, skin, stress, sleep or energy related. These are our bread and butter.

  • There are many reasons to book a psychotherapy session with our registered psychotherapist.

Many patients are looking for additional support in managing their anxiety, depression, thinking patterns, and life transitions.

  • Yes, our naturopathic doctors can order a variety of tests, depending on your concerns.

We order lab tests in an intentional way to help give us the most amount of information to get to the root of your symptoms.

Note: Lab tests ordered by our NDs are an additional expense (sometimes covered by extended health insurance - check with your provider)

  • Yes, our Nurse Practitioner can refer for imaging such as X-ray and ultrasound, and she can also refer to specialists when appropriate. Naturopathic doctors can not make referrals to specialists.

  • You will be charged HST for Massage Therapy appointments and psychotherapy; however, Naturopathic, Chiropractic and Acupuncture visits are not taxed.
