Avery Garrett-Patterson
Joining to support our patients with chiropractic care late summer 2025!
Avery is a chiropractic graduate who takes a movement-focused, compassionate approach to care. With a deep appreciation for the body’s resilience and adaptability, she works collaboratively with individuals to reduce pain, restore function, and build long-term confidence in movement.
Her treatment style blends hands-on therapy, functional rehab, and personalized education to support a wide range of concerns — from everyday aches and chronic pain to sport-related injuries. Avery has experience working with people across all stages of life and activity levels, including those with joint pain or stress-related tension.
Before pursuing chiropractic, Avery competed as a nationally ranked track and field athlete and later coached children and developing athletes at the beginning of their own sport journeys. Her background in high-performance sport, paired with her own transition to strength training and injury prevention, has shaped a clinical lens that prioritizes sustainable movement and healing.
She is also deeply committed to creating inclusive, welcoming healthcare spaces. During her time at the University of Toronto, she co-founded the BIPOC Varsity Association to help increase representation, support, and community for racialized student-athletes.
Avery holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Toronto and recently completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She will begin accepting patients at Crafted Balance in late summer 2025, upon receiving licensure. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys lifting weights, walking her dog, and spending time in the sun with her partner.
