Yasmine Khalaj, Osteopath
Yaz is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, Pilates instructor, and strength coach whose approach to healthcare is deeply rooted in movement, biomechanics, and whole-body function. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University, where she built a strong foundation in anatomy, biomechanics, rehabilitation, and human performance.
With years of experience in movement education, strength training, and Pilates instruction, Yaz developed a passion for understanding not only how the body moves, but why dysfunction and compensation patterns develop in the first place. Her transition into osteopathy was driven by a desire to bridge the gap between rehabilitation, performance, and hands-on manual care — helping patients move beyond symptom management and truly understand their bodies.
Her clinical approach is rooted in collective mechanics, assessing how forces, movement patterns, and compensation strategies interact throughout the body to identify the root cause of dysfunction. By combining osteopathic manual therapy with movement-based rehabilitation and patient education, Yaz helps patients restore balance, improve function, and support long-term health.
Yaz is passionate about empowering patients to reconnect with movement and return to the activities that make them feel their best — whether that means exercise, recovering from injury, improving day-to-day function, or simply moving through life with greater ease and fluidity.
